Naruto Fan fic: Training Time
Art By Mimiko-Flamemaker

Team Training:
Looking through the divide of the wooden wall, Amoroto warned me against spying on the girls but this is serious!
“Hakari could be in trouble” I whispered as to not alert the attackers on the other side.
“…But Argies” Amoroto waded beside me, dripping with sweat and steam, unable to finish his sentence.
“We won’t know what is going on unless we look, the only other alternative is us jumping over this wall which if there is something wrong… prepare yourself!”
“…But Argies san, there is someone right there!”
“What, I don’t see anyone…?”

Infamy: The replacement point system
This has been months in the making for such a simple little program, but here we go!!!!!
Infamy, my idea on how to replace Da's point system for my own :)
With Infamy you can trade points for art without having to fork out cash. Since points can never be converted back into money, there shouldn't charge you for them, thus Infamy replaces DA's points so you don't have to pay. Instead artists can trade points for favours just like they have always done, and for their work they get points in return. Points which can then be used to purchase more favours from others, all without paying a cent :)
Basically, infamy is the agreed upon concept that points merely mean that you value a person and their work. The more you value a person work the more points you give them, which in turn gives value to points. Points are your Infamy, they are proof that you are talented and feared :D

Exploring For-loops and ints
Welcome to another lesson on java programming. Today we are going to explore integers and for Loops, together. First create a new java main class and call it 'TestIntegersAndForloops', if you are not familiar with java and how to create a new java main class then you can follow this link to your first java program :)
You should now have a page that holds the following code:
public class TestIntegersAndForloops
{
public static void main (String[]args)
{
}
}
Now enter the following code so that your entry looks like this
import java.util.*;
public class TestIntegersAndForloops
{
public static void main (String[]args)
{
for(int Integer=1;Integer<101;Integer++)//this is a for loop
{
if(Integer%10==0){
System.out.println();
}
else{
System.out.println("0 ");
}
}
}}
for loops are used to perform a task until a certain criteria is met, in this case we are using a forloop and an integer.
int Integer

Hot Springs Holiday

Hot springs Holiday:

It was early in the morning and I was already in the woods training, practising and sharpen my strengths in hope to improve my survivability. I decided to break from my normal day to day training routine and instead I practised shuriken exercises. It was then I heard the hawk call... My targets the trees couldn’t move out the way, and so to give them the chance of avoiding me I ran alongside them and picked my targets from behind the rush of passing branches and tree trunks. The Leaf had taken up using Hawks to send messages of alert to call ninja to the mission assignment desk. Not only faster than other birds, the hawk was also a bird of prey making it more resilient to the threa

Shimeji Beta Version
Shimeji Beta Version
Shimeji Beta Version 0.6
I've been working on this Shimeji project for the last ten days or so, and I'm quite surprised with how much I've been able to do in such a short period of time. If you would like to celebrate with me you can try out the shimeji here ()
A few notes:
Warning! Put your computers volume on low before running Shimeji, Java has no setting for volume so wav file sounds may vary
PS sound is super buggy but meh
Shimeji Now have SOUND! YEAH!!!!! Man I'm tired and besides that accomplishment I'm super super tired... I added nothing else new from beta 0.1 to 0.6 We are almost there to the first alpha release
The screenshot function prints out the screenshots into the folder where your shimeji is run from. It can only be cancelled/stopped by closing all shimeji. I was hoping to compile the images into a vi

Shimeji Terms and Conditions
Shimeji is an OpenSource project which means that it is free to use with no charge or limitations to what we as a community can add to it, but, currently the terms and conditions of the Shimeji are not to a friendly standard.
The current licence agreement of the Shimeji allows people and corporations to commercialise and sell any and all content of the shimeji and any contributions to the project. This means that not only can they charge you for an already freely distributed product, but they can also steal all artworks and programs which you have contributed to the shimeji project! This is a red flag, we simply must do something about it which is why I propose we write up a licence agreement right here and now in this thread. I will of course write up the whole thing first and together we can trouble shoot for any holes in the ts and cs

The Shimeji Functionality Project:

The Shimeji Functionality Project:
Introduction:

Hello and welcome to the Shimeji Functionality Project or SFP for short. What we will be working on is making the shimeji(computer mascot program) into a more functional PC buddy instead of a mischievous pet. Now the shimeji as it currently is, bounces around on your screen and plays with windows and other programs you have running. While this can be entertaining and cute it is at the same time pointless. What we want to do with the SFP is to add functionality to this cute program, so that you can give orders to the Shimeji and it will carry out your instructions to complete some task or another.
Criteria:
What we are looking for is a broad range of functions, research, testing, and computing languages. The shimeji is currently written in java which despite being mostly a universal language, it does still have its problems on operating systems like Linux. If we are to add functions to the Shimeji we will likely also run in

How do you set up a Background in a GUI?
Backgrounds!
This is my question today. How do you set up a background image on a Java GUI? I've tried this dozens of times before but java just won't comply. It can paint a background on perfectly find but it won't stay there for long. Click any components, move your mouse, resize the window... and suddenly your background is gone or missing some pieces. it is extremely frustrating and I've looked all over the internet for a solution but so far haven't found one(over 2 years searching). Which is why I'm here now searching again, in a more reliable place, you the individual must know the solution... surely?

Here is what I have already tried:

Using a hard component as the background paint panel;
In java there are soft components and hard components. I don't really know what the purpose of these two components are but I do know hard components do not update their UI as frequently.... unfortunately it still didn't solve the paint problem
Update the paint ba

Programmers Challenge
The Theory Of Probability:
Using code try and prove the theory of probability. Now theory by definition can not be 100% validated as either fact or fiction, but that is what code is for^_^ Using your computer known how, do you think you can write a code that confirms Probability?
Shopping list:
Imagine you go to the store with 30$ and over 20 possible items to buy. Now trying to buy the most amount of items with just 30$ would be easy to decide as a human. However this challenge is all about getting your computer to do the math for you. With just 30$ and a randomly generated list of items from 20-40 all in different price ranges, how do you code a program to selectively buy only one of each item and yet buy the most items with the limited funding you have?

Create an encryption program that can send a message in one encryption key, but is decrypted with another key and is sent back with yet another encryption key only to be decrypted with yet ano

My First Java Program
My First Java Program:

Welcome to your first java program, here we will explore where to download Netbeans (a programming platform) and make your very first java program.

Now you might be asking yourself, ‘But why should I learn programming, what could I do with it?’ Well why not? Programming is just like any other hobby, even if it is perfectly without a point it will still be fun creating something that is your own. What could you do with it? The possibilities are limitless, and for once that isn’t just an empty statement. If a genie granted you three wishes and one of your wishes was for endless power, don’t be too surprised if the magic lamp spits out a tutorial to programming. Programming is magic and the more you learn from it the more you will realise just how powerful it has made you become MWAHAHAH! It is

offline for a while... well I'm online but I'm just not answering any mesages ;P
How is it that a negative multiplied by a negative, equals a positive

Can someone logically explain this nonsense?

Here is my own explanation:

-9*-2=18
-9=18/2
-9=9

Therefore Math doesn't make sense!!!!
When I was in primary school I remember accidentally touching my friends hand as we walked side by side. Instantly we walked a little farther apart from each other like some hidden code. This was before we had even reached puberty but still even at that point it was already set in that contact, sexual or otherwise, wasn't allowed.

far later in my life I made friends with a girl, and we aren't boyfriend and girlfriend, and I accidentally touched her breast which left her speechless right in the middle of a sentence.

Now I just wonder, now that the whole gay and free love movement has hit the world. Is such interaction still such a forbidden deed?

I mean even now I feel a little unwilling about hugging my friends(never have never will), and yet I do feel the need for human contact sometimes. I really do want to see the world progress towards love and understanding, and friends that can say they love each other without it ending in an orgy.

So yeah, what happens now a days when awkward contact happens?
Hello!Stampede Sollux Overdrive :nuu: :SuperSleep:

This Journal is dedicated to all those programmes who would like to show off the latest bit of programming that they have made. Since not everyone can be as cool as a programmer this journal is also a free place for anyone to brag about their latest and greatest accomplishments. We all need a little love and attention, and sometimes we can't get that from home or in the play ground... so come here and get all the hugs and kisses I can afford :D

I just love life the way it is, with all the messy violence and the corrupt politicians.
Why would I ask for a better world! This world is perfect the way it is because it is so wicked, it leaves plenty of room for improvement.

I like story songs.
Enjoy art as long as it's actually good
Love poetry writing

Favorite past times are probably making programs, writing, editing computer games and making poetry. Recently I've taken up staring at art and drawing inspiration, it's actually helped me a hell of a lot! I suggest you try it =)

They don't like the mass invitations I do, because DA wants us to pay for everything including advertisement

But don't worry, I silently threatened them and they went away :D

Well that is great too I suppose, it means that perhaps programmers are more alike then we think :)

Hopefully that just means the community will grow even faster :P

What poems and speeches do you have to share?

I would love to hear them...

I once made people cry at church with a speech I wrote, the thing is I was super nervous reading it that even my voice was shaking... I'm impressed that people still got the message and didn't burst out laughing at how terribly crowd shy I am:|
